While all of our products are carefully engineered to meet our customers’ quality and performance standards, we are also committed to reducing the environmental impact of composites by developing processes and materials that capture and reprocess waste streams in the most energy-efficient manner. Influence. But as a global organization, we want to do more. We recognize the importance of our responsibilities and our commitment to our people, the planet and the wider community.
Environment
We are committed to operating our business in a sustainable way with minimal impact on the environment. To accomplish this we aim to:
- Reduce our energy consumption by 25% per linear meter of fabric produced by 2025
- Achieving zero waste to landfill by 2026
- Sourcing >50% of energy needs from renewable sources by 2025
- Reducing CO2 by >25% from the transportation of products to customers by 2025
- Achieving ISO 14001 Environmental Management System accreditation by 2023
- Providing electric charging facilities to encourage our team to switch to EV cars
- Providing improved facilities to actively encourage walking or cycling to work
- Prioritising suppliers with CSR values aligned with ours
- Reducing corporate travel by embracing virtual meeting technology
